My power came in the mail today and it says I owe $1035.00. There is no way that I owe this much... This is ridiculous.... People can't live and make it having to pay a power bill that high...

We barely have used our heat this winter, and do not have any major appliances running, just a fridge, stove, hot water heater, tv an lights. I keep my heat on 60 and rarely turn it up further unless super cold an need to warm up real quick. Otherwise we wear warm clothes an have a blanket when hanging out in the house and our electric bill was still 400 plus each month!! This is ridiculous! I can't imagine what it would be if we actually kept it 70 in our home and had a washer/dryer, dishwasher running everyday as well smh something needs to be done!!

I am on a budget and still pay 180+ per month on a 2 personhousehold. Where I live the power will go out for hours and sometimes days at a time for no apparent reason. I don't think their service is worth what I pay, but there is no alternative!

these taxes on my bill are becoming ridiculous!! operation rider tax? retirement rider tax?? A company as large as AEP should have funds in place to pay employees. And i dont appreciate having to pay a huge deposit for a service that I have had for 18 years before it was all of a sudden required.

My bill is higher. My furnace hardly kicks on as we have a fireplace and use it almost all the time. This is BS!!!!

I don't have my heat on because I can't pay the bill that goes over 400.00 dollars in the winter time. I try to heat enough with propane heaters to keep my family warm.

Power bill is outrageous, turn my heat back to 60 every morning before leaving home, my dad lives next door, he's home every day, never sees a meter reader, although Your bill will say it was read...i think there needs to beca class action suit brought against AEP....

My electric bill tripled in one month! I live on a fixed income! I had almost $100 of charges that weren't even electric charges! Charges for Big Sandy and I live in Jackson, Ky! Really what r we supposed to do!

Bill used to be 75 a month at most 100 and then all the sudden I'm lucky to have it below 150

Electric bill has doubled just since last month. The weather hasn't been that cold yet either so we haven't ran the heat that much this month. $100 in fees added to the bill on top of the actual cost. This is crazy. They know we have to have electric and their is no one else to supply it. AEP knows they can do whatever they want and we cant do a thing about it.
