AEP is charging rates so high that most have to decide between food or electric! This is outrageous!

Iam on budget and in winter it runs 195 the month of feb its 225 i kerp my heat on one number dont change clothes wash dry once a week

My bill this month jumped $70 and we heat with wood. Makers no sense to my. We always make sure to turn off lights and power cords if not using.

My freaking bill started at $0 and jumped to $377 in one month. We have had a mild winter so tell me how the hell it can be so high? AEP is ripping us off and we cant do anything about it.

I'm on the "budget plan" but my bill varies nearly $100 every month. I'm no math whiz, but that's not an average.

Mine was over 300.00 now my husband has us sitting in the dark to see if it lowers it any but we never had many lights on before this is crazy !!

Aep is not affordable for any family. They charge astronomical prices that a two income household cannot even afford.

It's absolute nonsense. I've been with AEP for over 15 yrs...always paid my bill and been late some over the years. I do not feel like this gives AEP the right to charge another deposit...which they have. Common sense should tell them if people were having difficulty paying on time that raising their bill would not benefit timeliness for getting paid by AEP.

My bill is never under $300 and is way more in winter months, It continues to increase, regardless of usage! When you realize that your paying $100 in just taxes and fees.....

Our electric bill continues every single year to raise in the winter even though we use no heat pump or electric heaters. We only use a wood stove with a fan. It's crazy and the employees tell us how everything is more power in the winter, horse crap is what I say!!! Our hot water heater and dryer did not raise our bill$150 in Dec when it was so warm we didn't even need a fire in the stove!!! AEP should be sued for taking advantage of ppl!!!!

I'm signing this because they keep raising my rates. One month was $130.00 than from a zero balance it skyrocketed to $380.00 for one month. Outrageous and I know it's on them because I have a brand new home with storm windows and all new appliances. Total BS.
