My mother's bill last month was $700! She is 82 and her sole income is Social Security. It takes her whole check to pay this so then what does she do for food, etc? And the kicker is that she lives in a small mobile home. My home in Colorado is about 3 times as big and my bill last month was about $160 and that includes electric, water, and gas, wastewater, everything! There is no way my mother is using $700 worth of electricity. The people in KY have to rise up and fight. Go to your state and federal congressmen. Get the TV stations involved. Call for an investigation on a state and national level. Spread the word everywhere you can through social media. Please fight because my mother is not able to fight for herself. File a class action lawsuit demanding return of your overages for what you already paid to this crooked operation. Despicable what they are doing to everybody but especially the helpless elderly.

I have called several time to My Ky power company about the charges on the Environmental and Big Sandy Extra Charges on my Bill...I know we where getting credits and now it is adding $30 to $50 a month to my actual use..I am 70 years old and I live on a budget, I ask them and they said they don't help the elderly with they bills...
I don't understand why we wasn't complete told why of the Additon charge, I have never been so treated so badly about their customer care employees, they don't want to hear or tell you anything...

I've always felt that AEP has over charges people for the electric we use and it's not fair cause they have no competition think they can just Jack the prices no!
