The cost for electricity is ridiculous.when your light bill is more than a house payment and your hardly ever home something isn't quite right somewhere.hmmmmm....

I got screwed by aep said I can't have electric an never had a balance due or disconnect but deny me to have electric in my name due to previous renters they don't punish the ones with outstanding bills just the ones who have always payed there on time everyone everywhere needs to just go solar power an put them out of bussiness!!!!

Paid my bill for Aep on time since 1970. Tired of paying for their mismanagement and neglect. Took our local power plant away now charging us for that. Should have made the upgrades years ago instead of putting profits in the hands of stockholders and CEO 's.

Even on our budget, every year there is a significant raise. Even when the warmer winters show an "increase in power due to temperatures" my family doesn't pay nearly what we do in electric costs and they live up north where it's consistently negative temperatures in winter time. Ridiculous!

AEP sucks were we live they are not another power company so AEP thinks they can do what ever they want to, just last month a AEP truck pulled in my yard turn my power off did not knock say can u pay this mam or leave a note or anything so then I called AEP and they told me my power was not due to be disconnected & they said are u sure that ur me men have power and it's not just a black out & then they go to tell me that they was not even a power truck suppose to be over in my area to cut my power off but of course since it was already turn off I had to pay my bill and pay AEP a extra 50.00 to come back and hook it up after I spent a hr on the phone getting it all straighter out!!

My light bill keeps going up no matter how little we use our lights. I have on place where we do not live and the main brake stays off, especially during the winter months. I just got a $30 bill for not using any power... wasn't even there the whole month of December! I am outraged at what we are all having to pay per month!!! It's rediculous.

My bill doubled last month and they attributed it to usage. I have gas heat so my electric bill is lower in winter vs summer. Thanks Appalachian Power!
