These rate increases are shameful. I am a recently divorced stay at home mother of 3 & am trying to find a home. I could barely pay the utilities at our family home before he bought me out of my share of the house. With unreasonable increases like these even if I can afford a house the utility expenses would cripple me.

I don't see how my bill raised $156 this past month (12-24-16-1-24-17). It was a warm month plus we heat entirely with propane. This is ridiculous. And why are we paying for retirement. My mother has not received an increase in her retirement pay that she gets from you all. Why are you charging her for the use of a heat pump? Why are we paying for the demolition and switch over of the coal Plant to gas at the Big Sandy Plant? We didn't ask for it. This is a travesty to the people. I can run off of a generator cheaper than you all. I am a daughter of a retired Ky Power Employee and the wife of a former Coal Miner.

I think it's crap that aep can get away with charging more than what anyone's bill should be. Let me ask you something my home is very well insulated and we keep our lights out all day and night everyday, so how can my bill go from 100 and something dollars to 430.00 dollars. I say screw AEP BRING IN MORE ELECTRIC COMPANIES WITH LOWER RATES FOR THE POOR MIDDLE CLASS WORKING PEOPLE. WE CAN'T EVEN EAT BECAUSE OF AEPS' OUTSTANDING ELECTRIC BILLS.

My power bill went from 180 a month seven years ago to 400 then last month I paid 1,017. I'm a coal miner not a millionaire. We cannot afford this any longer

It is a shame that miners who lost their jobs are having to pay for the retirement of the plant that put them in the unemployment line to begin with.. There is little empathy in our country.

I too think that AEP needs to lower my bill and everybody elses bill. I seen that some new commercials have came out and AEP is looking like the good guy. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG. You have not been RIGHT in so many years, I can't count them. I do wish that we had a choice in Southern Virginia and Southern West Virginia.

We hve even charged a late fee every month since Sept when our bills Have been PD On time!!!! Our Elec bills have Doubled the amount the past two months and we have Not changed how we use or utilize the usage any!!!

Last month and this month bill was $400 plus. Never in my life has a power bill been that high. Nothing is hardly ever on at the house. Also I have a wood burning fire place..Now it to point pick and choose what bills to pay so can have power .

My home is only a 28x36 and my bill hasn't been under $400.00 in a very long time. This month it was $498.00. It used to not go over $200.00 in the winter.

I cant hardly afford mine now. I know ppl who.can't pay a 500$ power bill a month . I can't even afford health insurance cause.all my bills r alrwady outrageous like my power bill . It jerps.raising and I am not even home often. This makes.me sick
