AEP has the monopoly on electricity and I think they charge us way too much just because they can. The bills get ridiculous in winter. We have to step up and say something or nothing will ever be done.

It has been out of control for years. They set up meetings with the PSC for rate hikes but only a few show up.

My last 2 electric bills have nearly tripled compared to the month of December 2016 my family is already struggling so to pay cuts and the cost of living increase lately we just simply CANNOT afford these kind of electric bills! Thanks for any help you can give and God bless...

Our bill has went up $90.00. I haven't been home hardly 1/2 the time. Had surgery and recovered away from home. No cooking, no Christmas lights, no hot bathing, washing clothes. Can't believe these charges.

The last 2 months my electric bill has been outrageous .. last month it was 499.54 and this month it was 498.00 and these are just for one month no bill was owed neither time and I am hardly at home I am always working and it shouldn't be this high I understand it's winter and all but this is just outta control something has got to be done people are working their behinds off to pay these crazy bills and I am just here to tell you that I have other bills that are just as important that needs to be paid as well and I can't pay them when my entire check is going to AEP for an outrageous electric bill !!!!

Our power is off more than its on , just like now ts off again and we live in a 900 Sq ft double wide just myself and my wife and you send us a $ 600 . Power bill
