I started running a coal and wood stove 22 hours out of a day and my bill only lowered 30 dollars from running the electric heat all the time.. don't sound right to me..

yes i totally agree, people need to stand up for there rights and make justice. But the only way were going to do that if everybody works together. God bless

Aep is a rip off.. The top dogs (( CEO'S.. PRESIDENT OF AEP all other money gougers))) need a paycut so we poor people can live..!! For me it's between keeping lights on or getting all my heart meds!!!

I'm 28 years old and work a full time job. I struggle, like most people, but still make it. I'm the kind of person that does as few loads of laundry as possible, turns off every light when I leave, and turn my thermostat way down and wear jackets and sweaters in the house just to end up getting a 280$ electric bill after never having went about 100$ in the past two years. I don't know what else to do. I've bought energy efficient curtains, put plastic on every window in my home and made sure to put cushions under all my doors to prevent drafts. I don't abuse my heat and electric, I don't know what else to do!! Please do something about this!!

Moved to prestonsburg from Lexington on January 1st. Wife took a RN position at pikevilke medical. House has Gas heat. Got a bill from AEP for 745 dollars. I lived in a subdivision in Lexington and had KU and the house was all electric. Last winter when it was terrible with all the snow and cold days, our highest bill was 193.00 and that was with the heat set to 74 all winter. This is ridiculous. I've never felt this ripped off before.

I'm currently away from home for a year with the military. My wife has stayed with my family more than half of the last cycle and kept the thermostat on 50 degrees in our place. Right now it's look like the bill is going to be 500 a month in a place that is rarely used.

Our electric. Bills keep going up and we ain't even using the heat much cause we can't afford to pay 500 dollars for it it's sometimes higher this month was lower but it's because we wasn't home much to use the heat.

This is ridiculous, I live in a 2 br house, more like a cottage. I'm not clear on the square footage, but it's an EXTREMELY small house.

can not afford to keep paying this high rate we even up grades our system but it does not do any good i payed all these extra add on taxes totaling over $100.00
