just how many dam signatures does it take... i think people need to find another way of going about this.... as my wife said lawyers help! this is price gouging and they have a monopoly which is illegal

We was told it was a one time fee and guess what the next month the same thing. We should not have to pay for them to make a switch from coal to gas... this is outrageous

My parents pay 3 times as much for their electricity for a smaller home than I do in central kentucky!

It's a shame you have to choose between power or food. Most people live pay day to pay day and these prices make things more difficult.

My AEP bill is getting higher every month. Ona fixed income and why do we have to pay retirement funds, etc on our bills?

Bill are way to high so the CEO'S can put money in their pockets while taking it out of ours.Don't mind paying for power but at a fair and honest price.

THIS IS LONG, BUT INTERESTING EXPERIENCE TODAY WITH AEP SERVICE; We moved to our home 3 & 1/2 years ago, everything in it is energy efficient and bought when we moved in. Two (2) years ago we installed natural gas with a fire place which we now heat with, heat pump never comes on during the winter, had new windows installed March of 2016. Our power bill was the highest that it ever had been since we moved (we thought it was the new windows) so in May of 2016, we called the power company and asked them to check the meter, they refused to come out, said those meters were very accurate. They read our meter this last Friday (01-27-17) guess they were not happy with our usage, they came today, (01-30-17) and changed the meter. (after telling us that they never go bad), asked the power guy why they were changing it, he said because it was old. I asked him if he was putting one in that ran faster, he said he got that question all the time, (did not answer the question), his response was he was just doing his job. Last month our average usage was less than 1.4 kilowatts per hour with average temp. at 31 degrees, just called time and temp. and temp is 37 degrees, used more power in seven (7) hours since he changed the meter, averaging 3 kilowatts per hour (rather than the 1.4), no washing, no cooking, (pizza was good), just a couple of lights, computer, etc. (normal use) and by the way one of my neighbors meters was not changed, theirs must not have been old, or their power bill was more than ours last month, which ever. Guess AEP will be happy now that they have doubled our kilowatts per hour. By the way gentleman did not even let us know he was changing the meter, had it not been for our alarms we would not even had known it. Suggest you keep an eye open for your kilowatts and meters changing.

Enough is enough. This is what happens when you practically have a monopoly. Politicians must be on the payroll.
