It's not fair paying almost a car payment for electricity. These costs are hurting people in the community.

AEP ask for a raise in electric bill in 2011 to update coal burning power plants to meet EPA , over a four year time they got the raise then didn't update tore power plant down in Ashland KY but never return money or lower power bill this is robbery!!!!

Power bill keeps going up. People on fixed incomes can't afford to buy meds and groceries with the increasing costs

We should not have to pay the retirements of the AEP employees!! There is too many added fees on the bill each month.

For the first time in 33 years of paying powers bills I am only able to pay the overdue balance to keep the power on another month. Just once I want to. Be caught up as I was always in the past a sad time for east Ky and none of our own doing

Its Outrageous how a bill can go from $150 to $433 in just two months!!! My kids wonder why cant we turn on our Christmas tree...this is why!!! Its not fair that we cant turn on our tree and cook christmas dinner because this is what happens... something needs to be done!

The public service commission approved all the taxes and fees. My bill last month for the power only was $313.00 after all the fee and taxes added it came to $445.00. We have had a mild winter don't buy into the winter bull. The bill had close to $38.00 in Big Sandy "retirement" and a $38.00 environmental fee. Besides school and other taxes and fees.

You all can come up with alot of excuses for pretty much everything you do, but id really like to hear, HOW IS IT RIGHT THAT WE SHOULD BE PAYING FOR YOUR RETIREMENT, WHEN WE CANT EVEN AFFORD TO PUT MONEY BACK FOR OUR OWN????? Some of the charges on your bills are rediculous and totally unfair to the consumers........

my billing rate was $0.1307/kWh. thats the second highest rate in the country!

I'm a disabled old man and having a family of 4 trying to make ends meet. What little money the Government gives me should not go to some old company that no longer exist. What ever fee it was to close that company down should not keep rising up and up.

My bill went from $123.00 to over $500 in one month!! I've yet to see it this time. I dread it. :( I'm choosing between paying for food or power.

From Pike Co and outraged to see all these random charges on my bill. W/O these charges my bill would be the same as Nov. The last 2 months have been hard on my family as we are paying so much more.

My electric bill is insanely high! I live in a small two bedroom trailer we keep lights off don't use heat unless we absolutely have to and my bill is over $400 a month.

My bill is 549 this month and was only 312 last month and yes I know it's winter but the adjustment fee added to this month was 109 and only 20 last month

The surcharges we are paying for on our bills are an unnecessary burden to us all and we are tired of Kentucky residents bearing the brunt of all your costs. Why not charge WV, as well as all the other states that have AEP? Ky residents face the same challenges as everyone else...paying for electricity is hard enough , not including being saddles with $60 plus dollars extra fees.
