AEP is out of control!

Something needs to be done. Our rates are through the roof. We shouldn't be forced to keep our homes so cold that we have to wear cold inside our homes.

Electric bill has at least doubled. Use the same each month. Rip OFF.

Our bill is out of control! They know this country area does not have a lot of gas lines so we all have electric for everything and they charge use like crazy

The rates have been ridiculous for years and now they want us to pay for something "they" decided to not use and tear down. We, the people, shouldn't have to pay for something that took our peoples jobs and we didn't agree with.

My electric has jumped over $400.00 and I haven't changed anything. Nothing has been different in my house and it has tripled for no reason.

Very fed up with AEP doing this! Happen way to often and mothers and other on a fixed income should not be in a situation to have choose between things they need and electricity! Just needs to stop!!!

This is sad but so true! It's crazy how people can not even use electronic heat (gas or kerosene) and their bill still be $500 during the winter! Talk about taking advantage of people, knowing they have to have electricity.

This has gotten out of control, something has to be done. I for one am tired of doing without my medicine because I need heat.It's just not right to have to choose,

It's just not right what they put people through. To have to choose between eating staying warm for there families. God and family should always be our first priority. AEP has no competition that would automatically force them to lower bills. They don't Own the electric ? They never Invented the electric company. It's a job! I feel like they fixed it to where the taxes are so high that everyday people end up paying its electric. Maybe solar power is the answer. Why doesn't the coal miners form there own electric company? They dig it and they deliver the coal to them. Then they have to pay for it as well. That's wrong on so many levels. I'd go solar power but to many coal miners would be without work.

My electric bill has more than doubled in 2 months

I am a single mother of three currently working two jobs, and two of my children work as well, with all of our incomes combined I can't pay a $500 bill a month. It's getting ridiculous!

Power bills is way to much

I think it's a shame we for them deciding to tear down the smoke stack...they take our men's jobs and want us to pay for their new ideas.

My power bill went from 215.00 to 598.00. Said I used 1568 KW previous. Then 4985 this month. No way. My meter would have been smoking. We sit in the dark. And we freeze half the time. I am curious how they read the meters. Mine is behind my house. I live in a bottom you would have to walk by my door to read my meter. Never once have I seen anyone. And they can't come to the back of the house because there is a creek. Give an answer for that AEP. I don't believe they read the meters

Agree 100% their prices are getting crazy,, and have been that way for a while.

Lower the power bills in West Virginia

We can't afford these high electric bills it would be different if our economy was better in eastern KY there are a lot of people out of work over shutting coal mines down
