My bill not only doubled but it TRIPLED!!!! I don't even have electric heat either, we have a huge fireplace in our home!!! Not only that my family and I only turn lights on well after dark and in one room of the house only!!! It's absurd when you have to choose between having electricity or being able to have a meal to eat!!!!!

My home is powered through RECC, but both of my fire stations are AEP services. It's a volunteer department and 1 station was charged $800, where the heat stays set at 50° and the other was $200 and it's heated by wood and propane.

They charge sky high prices & then don't want to be reasonable when you need help with extensions!!! I'd love to have another power company to switch to!!!

As of June 2016 our bill almost doubled from the previous month for the usage and each month has been significantly increasing. The past three months it's been 800-900 total which is crazy. We aren't even home much of the time and the thermostat is low. My bill contains several hundred dollars of fees and taxes and it's ridiculous that the tax and fee rate is different for each bill and each household. I'm in Northeastern KY....Carter County...and everyone I know is having the same issues. My parents have been struggling to keep theirs on with my dad losing his job and struggling to find another.

My electric bill was over half of my monthly income. I live alone and had a $400.10 electric. It's a sight that our electric bill could raise so high .

As we all know and see that your profitable year after year in the MILLIONS and we suffer as the poor and you think its ok cause many go get the LIHEAP and that still makes you richer but there are those of us that cant go get that help and you need to stop stealing from your fellow brothern of the earth we all need LIGHT and we need heat so you need to stop over chargin us and blaming it on energy and policy of epa if it was that you would be suffering to not being profitable yet your wallets growand grow its time for you to be removed and citizens to govern the power board not a bunch of people who have no care for the customer you know you have no competition its wrong its a monopoly and fraud to do us this way.

Bill has doubled, it's around $500- $600 a month and we use kerosene and keep our thermostat on 70, absolutely no reason for a bill that big, something needs to be done, ppl in this area can't afford that.
