I haven't seen bill this "high" in my life your charging me fee's on top of fee,American Electric Power 8.4 percent for ever kilowatts my bill was almost double in single month 1,908 watts to 3,100.I been out of town working at steal mill for over 2 weeks with little of power while being used this make me confused

Mine went up over $100 this past month!!! I have never paid a bill that high as long as I have lived here!!

AEP. Pass the buck to the customers. Every. Damn. Time!! While the execs sit in the Ivory tower. The service isn't even that reliable. Power constantly goes out. Tired of paying for an electric bill that costs as much as a car or house. FED UP!!!

I have done everything to reduce the use of electric . Caulk doors fnd windows,close off rooms use 110 aoutlet heaters shut off my heat pump .install a surge protecter and much more.Still I must ware layers of clothes to stay warm in my house

Bills are way to high but what I find the most insulting is all the other taxes before the total of the bill.

My AEP bill has doubled and I was told by AEP it was due to me using my heat more in the winter months. This is not true as I haven't increased by usage of heat. As a matter of fact, I have adjusted the thermostat to 65 and walk around with a blanket and gloves to keep warm. This is ridiculous, people on a fixed income can't afford these rates. You have to choose medicine, food, or keeping the power on. How can they legally do this to their customers?

It is hard enough to pay for the power we use. We should Not have to pay for all the other stuff that they are adding to our bills each month. AEP should have to pay their own bills.

Our power bill was almost double what it was last month an that would be ok if we had used that much electric BUT WE DIDN'T! We've had a very mild winter so far and we had our heat OFF for 11 straight days, an then they're gonna try to tell me we DOUBLED!! WTH???? REALLY???

Just saw this months bill. $181 + $72.82 in fees. Almost half in fees added. Ridiculous. Plain out legal robbery.

Our bill has grown dramatically over the last few years in southeast Ohio. It has increased from $250-$300 and is now between $600-$650 monthly. We are looking to actually relocate due the increase in cost of living but no increase to match in wages. We both are college graduates that work full time and it is too much. how does this company expect anyone living on a fixed income to afford it?
