I 100% agree. They do not have any competition and they are price gauging the customers!!!

My electric bill almost tripled in one month!!!!! I'm no fool I know price gouging when I see it. AEP is taking advantage of their customers many of who are already facing economic hardships in this area. They need investigated and stopped. We made many changes to our home to make it more energy efficient and instead of my bill going down it tripled!!! Tell me something ain't going on here.

I have an account in Kentucky and in Virginia and they are doing the same thing in both states 50 dollars in taxes are just ridiculous.

How do you expect your customer's to pay such high bills. All your retirement and other charges are rediculious. We are hard working people who can't afford all your charges. Over $100.00 dollars in fees. You need to figure something else out before your customers decide to take this farther and get some kind of help to make a stand against this.

Our October bill was 190+, our November one was 224, and December was 446. This is in called for. The last few years they have been killing the people on fixed incomes. To make comments to the public when they call to complain about this like, "if you don't like it we can come and unhook you", would be a great idea if there were an alternate company to choose from.

I work for a line clearance company that is contracted with AEP. They always blame these increases on having to give us raises or some other nonsense. I say nonsense because they blame it on having to give us raises when we hardly ever get one. They just recently gave us a very generous raise of 1% which evened out to be about 14 cents on the hour or about 4 extra dollars per check. Along with this, they took away our safety incentive checks which gave us around 200 or so dollars every quarter, even though they usually came up with some excuse to take those from us too, they owe us a couple as it is and now we'll never see them. AEP is corrupt and greedy and need to be stopped.
