I cant afford to put the bill into my name so I had to leave it in my mom's, but I DO pay it every month & it's ridiculous!!!!!

I've been saying this for years. There's no competition so by definition they're being allowed to monopolize the market in my state of West Virginia. If republicans are for free markets, then why are they allowing AEP to monopolize an entire sector of the market in my area?

My electric bill keeps going up every month. I have tried to call and talk to someone to see what's going on with it and can't get through. I have the high efficiency refrigerator, range, washer & dryer and I thought that was supposed to help cut the costs some. It seems like mine has gotten more expensive. I am having a hard time paying these high bills. If there's anything I can do to lower my bills will you please help me figure a way to solve this problem. My electric bill is in my dad's name, Clyde Holbrook. Thank you

We can no longer afford to pay these ridiculous amounts! I am a school teacher for Heaven's sake! When my power bill is higher than my mortgage something is desperately wrong! My thermostat is set on 65. In this warm weather my heat pump rarely kicks on. We are not even home most days until after 6 p.m. This is price gouging from a monopoly.

Our bill for dec. was 249.00 and we were only home about 10 or 12 days. Had the heat turned down to 55 water heater turned off while we where gone. Thermostat set on 68 while at home. Dec. 2015 bill was 115.00 and we were there the whole month.

I don't think they read meter each time. Raising fee people can't afford it to go up anymore
