I work to have a nice home and it's hard to have when the power bill is well over half of the price of my mortgage...it's ridiculous...gonna have to switch to solar ,,,

The rates are entirely too high. It's not our fault that we live in an area that has trees and natural disasters that causes issues and then AEP needs to hire or have trees removed off lines, etc..

True, AEP needs to Understand what if we were broke and need electric for us and our kids to stay warm in the winter you think AEP would care nope they just wanna raise it and force us to pay $300-$600 for barley any power usage.

I don't understand how our electric bill can be $140 and by the time they add all their surcharges, fees, taxes it is $220!!!! $80 in additional charges is outrageous!!

I am divorced and have a fairly good job but still have gotten several disconnect notices because I cannot afford to pay the 500.00 electric bills I get each month. I usually have to chose between food and electricity. I think it's a damn shame too.

I agree this is over priced! How does 2 people who are only home at night and barely on weekends have a 300-400$ power bill?!
