This is so unfair. They keep upping the rates because they have no competition. I thought this was against the law?

I have family in Eastern Ky. They are on a fixed income and elderly, they simply can't eat because of their electric bill.. They also have to pay for street lights, yes street lights this is greed it it's fullest. I have other family that work 6-7 days a week only to find themselves out of money as soon as they earn it just to pay their electric bill. If I could do anything, if I had the resources I would work tirelessly to eliminate them all together,and replace with an Energy company that cares about the people. I meet a disabled couple this past fall, they can't afford electricity, they currently do not have power. Additionally Cable companies are charging extortionate fees as well. INSTEAD OF COMPANIES HELPING THE LESS FORTUNATE , THEY ARE SLOWLY MAKING THEM STARVE AND FREEZE. I think I will start at the top of the ladder and see what response I can get. AEP - YOU SHOULD GO BANKRUPT AND EXPERIENCE WHAT THESE PEOPLE EXPERIENCE ALL BECAUSE OF YOUR GREED.

Not sure how they expect someone to pay a bill over 500 on a minimum wage job. And they dont read meters right either. If they do their job right then we wouldnt have these kinda bills

Our bill keeps going up even though our usage has been steady. It's ridiculous how much our bill costs now, I don't know how we can afford this much longer.

Our bills should not be 200 every month it's unaffordable and too costly what ever happened to our 100 bill or lower

We struggle to pay a $300 power bill we have 2 kids and the only heat we have is electric and due to the cold an 2 young children we need the heat but leaving us behind on bills an a high power bill with disconnect notice is rough when all were trying to do is keep power an heat for our kids.

I am being charged a deposit just because I have a disconnect notice! My electric was never disconnected. It's ridiculous. I will never catch my bill up with all of these extra charges. I understand late charges but to charge me another deposit!? Also, why am I being charged a $30 environmental tax? These people are crooks!!!

I think its outrageous on the increase n actions against family's. I personally have had $600 month bill last 3 months n have struggled majorly. I wish Galax Via had another option for electric

The electric bill is way to high it was 200 last month and is 400 this month and have not used no more eltronic than last month don't understand how thay thaink a man can afored to live like this thay rase it ever time the state gives out help

This petition needs to be in West Virginia as well as any where else. People like myself can't afford to pay high electric bills when we try our hardest to keep the power bill down. And no matter what you do just see like it's higher.. help the people.

We have burned wood in the fire place. We didn't do anything any different from last year. I did put up less Christmas lights.It is ashame . We pay more than people living at a beach in Florida. There is no jobs right now. It's either eat or pay the electric bill
