Being hit with all the extra charges is very hard on everyone, especially those on limited incomes. All the stockholders got the profits, then why do we have to pay to retire the plant?

I reported this years ago. They raise the bill even though you have done renovations and the weather has been milder. They have knocked years off my life due to the constant worry. Have burned up appliances due to the surges in the power before they hired all the trees trimmed and said it was no fault of there own. Funny it stopped after they had this work done. I could go on but already doubt anything will be done about it. The taxes and fees total on the bill almost a hundred dollars. They even have us now paying for their retirement.

Its ridiculous when u have to choose between food or power. Aep needs condition around here. They abuse the power they have over us and know we have to pay whatever they charge. U don't hear of no-one else's power that high in Lexington or anywhere else

This has gotten completely out of control!!! It's a shame that a person lives from payday to payday and then gets a power bill for $500-$600 it's a shame!!! How is people suppose to live every month when it takes most of people's money to just pay ONE bill! It's right down pitiful!!!

I live in Raleigh County WV and my bill was over 400 dollars. I used propane and a wood burning stove on the days it got below 30. I called AEP to question them even though I knew what the results would be. I was told well it has to be the blower on propane heaters that used all that power.

I truly believe that the People are being charged to pay for the Change from coal to natural gas. This is Not right since a large part of These People were put on the unemployment line due to the restrictions on Coal which is Why AEP Switched .

Got my bill for month of December and it was twice as much as it was for November! Ridiculous! What kind of company is going to overcharge us PAYING CUSTOMERS more for something for their own benefit? OH WAIT. I forgot. Probably because us humans NEED heat and we NEED electric!! This needs to be taken control of!!!!

How can a trailer that isn't even being lived in have a power bill of 134$? Not even using the furnace but one small heater and leaving one light on? It's crazy and out of control.

I live in a 1 bed room apt and I no my power should not be any were from 200.00 to 400.00 a month every month

MY BILL HAS DOUBLED AND I HAVE A WOOD AND COAL STOVE, I DONT EVEN USE ELECTRIC HEAT! HAS DONE THIS FOR PAST 5 YEARS EVERY JANUARY BILL IS 2-3 TIMES MORE THAN MY BILL IN THE SUMMER WHEN IM RUNNING 4 A/C UNITS
