These prices are ridiculous when your power bill is more than you rent plus all other utilities together.

As a single mother of 3 it is hard with just as one to keep paying over 500 in just electric ..as pay for other bills ..aep charges as much as renting a home and so many as myself feels ripped off with not much electricity been used as they claim

This is a monopoly out of control, we have no other place to go for electric and they know so we have to pay it, I thought gas was supposed to make things cheaper and more efficient yet our bills just keep rising to the point of having to go out and find a second job to be able to pay it. I'd like to see their paychecks and see how much of our money they are really getting and the vacation homes we are buying them, the rich keep getting richer and the poor poorer where is our robin hood? They need to audit the power company, this is crippling our economy instead of being able to prosper we're going deeper in debt

my bill in January was the highest it has ever been. And we have barely used half of the electric we normally do that time of year due to a milder winter. Even the graph on my bill states I used less than the 5 years prior after comparing all of my usage, yet the bill was still ridiculously high. How is it in 2 months time I am spending $600.00 for power when we are not even home 10 hours out of the day, plus I had some "energy efficient" appliances added last year, so my bill should actually be lower, not higher. AEP is a rip off, and should be investigated by the regulatory commission for bilking their customers several times a year.

We in southern West Virginia are having to choose to eat or have lights! Aep has no competition charge what they want lie to customers to line the stockholders pockets! It's unfair for constant rate hikes to maintain lines as they say but yet nothing is done!

I am on a fixed income. Barely making it because my AEP bill takes over half of my check.. WV is a poverty stricken state and AEP is causing us to do without nessecities. It's just to high of rates. They have no competitors therefore they do what they want. Please help us!

I guess the only way to survive is to disconnect the electric! For the last three months, the bill has been $400, $600 and $500. I have an income of $733. How am I supposed to pay my other bills and buy necesities for the house? AEP needs to LOWER their rates NOW! PLEASE HELP US!

aep is totally out of controle on these electric bills an want $3000,00 to maintain the wires out side of the house,,,i work for a living get nothing from welfare,,,i work for what I have an this electric bill goes from $99.00 to $698.00 IN ONE MONTH THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG SOME WHERE,,,WV NEEDS HELP ON THIS PROBLEM,,,JESSIE

These companies have been causing stress..struggles forever now...im 57...i got on budget....got on PIPP....gotten help from other agengies....only to find out which ever bill i owe was never amounts i could pay...my grandson...leaves his apt to go to another....he will be looking at an apt with a high bill for electric....kept sending him notives....he has a credit for gas...how is anyone suppose to make it in their homes unless you are rich....when gas went down at the pumps....why didnt the gas co. Go down....ITS ALL LOSE-LOSE FOR EVERYONE

My electric bill jumped from $187 in November which I paid off then December it jumped up to $377 then the end of December they Chaged me again $330 for February and February hadn't even got here yet we paid aep $1300 to just keep our power on even though I know there reading are wrong because we have been reading our own meter
