Since I quit using my air conditioner my bill has doubled. And even with us turning the heat down to the low 60's it still went up again. I just moved back here from Texas where my electric bill for a house 2-3 times the size was less than half the lowest bill I ever have received in Kentucky.

I think it's wrong raising everyones power bill! Everyone tries to get by day by day and it's hard when you have a 6-700 dollar light bill for one dang month!

My bill was 718.46 for one Month. My husband and I are barely home and has only used out electric heat one weekend this winter during the snow. AEP takes advantage of the regular working people by overcharging knowing they have no competition. It's sad that they do this to people who have families and in a small town work hard to maintain everyday life. Electricity is needed and they know this. So they charge whatever they want knowing it has to be paid. Greed is an ugly trait.

My bill seems to get higher and higher every month. We can barely afford it and keep our thermostat set to the lowest that we can. My bill went from $105 last month to $350 this month. It's unreal.
