I totally agree that it is too high, we just about freeze to death, and we get a 400.00 bill. I can't imagine what it would be like to be at a comfortable temperature.

Aep are overcharging in Fayette county West Virginia and Raleigh county West Virginia as well . something has to be done!!!

I live in low income housing a small apartment no way I usd that much electricity and why do I have to pay all those fees for big sandy retirement has nothing to do with me

I agree! My electric bill almost doubled for Dec - Jan. I inquired about it and they told me that most peoples bill goes up because of Christmas, heating costs, etc. I have you to know, I did NOT put out lights this year, Unless my grandchildren were here, the tree was off, I lover my heat to 68 and there are only 2 of us living in the home! That means, I do not cook as much, bathe as much or have as much laundry as I used too.

8.759 cents per kWh how can someone run up their bills 400.00+ dollars? This company is a rip off we shouldn't have to pay all them Fee's either that's not our fault we shouldn't have to pay any of them

We have a wood burner but our bill went from 108.00 one month to 290.oo the next month.

Its beyond pathetic when your electric bill is more than your house or car payment and u have to pay because its the only provider. What a rip off!!!

No one should have to choose between buying groceries and paying their outrageous electric bill! These rates and fees are out of control! Increasing poverty in an already poverty stricken area, shame on you AEP!
