Aep is outrageous! This.is uncalled for you basically work to pay your electric bill! So over this company!

I don't have AEP but my kids do and they have kids and can't pay their AEP bill and keep their other bills paid, my daughter uses wood heat and her bill doubled, one of my sons had his bill to doubled back in October and has kept it up to where now he has to decide to feed his kids or pay AEP

I don't have AEP but my daughter and sons do, my daughter has wood heat and didn't put her tree up till 3 days before Christmas and her bill shoot up, more than doubled, one of my sons don't even use his heater because of the cost, so I know how bad it is from them. IT NEEDS TO STOP

Keep thermostat on 66 and live alone... price of electricity doubled in Dec and I was gone most of the time!

Somehow our bill is approx 400 a month and we dont have a washer or dryer or dish washer. The only thing constantly running would be the refrigerator. Half the time we're gone most of the month but its still as high. There's no competition with them so they think they can do or charge what they please which is wrong, something needs to be done with this company. They are highway robbery.

It is totally ridiculous that consumers have to pay for AEPs lack to budget properly and stock holders greed. AEP employee's receiving discounts on power bill and then that savings to employees is carried over to the consumer to make up. Around Christmas all consumers gets to reap the wonderful sudden increase and when you call to complain you are told by the CSR that it is due to Christmas lights, This is not justifiable especially when you know you don't have any Christmas lights burning. Consumers can not refuse to use AEP because there is no competition. It is time to put a stop AEP bulling consumers! AEP employee's need to pay there bills without discounts. If AEP needs money then I guess the stockholders don't receive their kickbacks, maybe cut back on the outrageous salaries of upper management.

Our bill just went up $400 in Nov 2017. This is out of control, they are billing for transmission services, distributions services, fuel and generation services, on top of two separate taxes. This needs to be stopped ASAP.

Continually increasing rates by leaps and bounds! Rather than increasing our monthly bill by smaller increments each year AEP decides to bump it up 16-17% all at once?! I haven’t received a raise within the last three years! WTH should AEP? And how are the increasing service? I mean I never see them trimming trees, or even maintaining lines. Maybe purchasing a new fleet of vehicles for their employees to enjoy lunch in would have saved them the rate increase that they are proposing. Just sayin

Not only should there not be another increase, they should have to decrease already overinflated rates and stop taking advantage of us just because they can. Someone needs to get another electric provider in here now!! Put them out of here.
