It's ridiculous to have electric bills go from $200 to $400 and then this month $500!! I mean it's not even been very cold so what else is the reasoning! And these environmental charges shouldn't be allowed since we are paying for a service it should be Aep's place to "protect the environment" however they can!

AEP controls the state Legislators in WV and KY - and its powerful lobby makes sure citizens cannot have access to public wind power, or other alternative sources of electricity. If a citizen DOES install costly home solar, they can only get back cents on the dollar for selling electricity to AEP. This is criminal and this is plain wrong. But remember - the Legislators in WV, KY allowed this.

This is getting ridiculous. You can't tell me that in one month I have doubled my bill because 2 electric heaters that stay off all day while at work but only one at evening and night.

I can't afford the bills I am getting from AEP. I have a gas fireplace and don't even use my electric heat. Too many add-ins I don't understand

Everyone's dam power boll I to dam high people on a fixed income can't pay the god dam power bill and eat it's eather eat or freeze AEP would cut back on the 6 figer salleries our god dam power bills would no be so high

Our electric bill continues to increase, it has doubled from last month, we have been forced to turn our electric heat pump off and use only our small gas fireplace. We've also been keeping every light off in the house just to save on electricity. I seriously don't know how the elderly are paying these bills, ours has become difficult to pay!

Our elec bill went from 240 to 340 in a month with nothing changing. Out thermostat stays on the same setting constantly & we heat with gas. There's no reason for our bill to be this high!! It's rediclious & I don't know how I'm gonna pay that high of s bill this month.. Something needs done fast
