The cost of electricity is ridiculous! Poor people can't afford to pay it cause it takes every dime they have and still can't pay the bill. You want your money lower the bills you may get the money!!! Common sense

They pay crazy amounts of money in OT instead of staffing appropriately and then charge the consumer for the waste.

I use wood for heat. Yet in the wintertime my power bill skyrockets. Makes no sense. Seems to happen about the same LIEP applications begin. Coincidence? I think not.

I live in WV and my bill has doubled and almost tripled. It wasn't even cold the entire month of December or most of January.

Got my bill the other day for this month. $634 for one month! My central heat and air hasn't even kicked on in over a month. I have no idea how this could be accurate!

AEP SUCKS!!! They say I jumped up from using 34kWh of power a day, an average of around $3 and some change...to 60kWh of power a day an average of about $12 and some change a day...when my entire house would fit inside the oval office...I'm paying business rates...it's sad that the utility companies see rate changes when the economy is failing and people are struggling...news flash your the only power company in our region...everyone that has service with AEP should all van together and flip the main breaker at the same time and leave it off for 24 hours...get they'll see how much money is lost in a days time...but then they would probably get another rate increase to compensate for it, and our bill would just increase again!!!
