AEP is out of control!

Most definitely overcharging due to no competition. Any politician that supports them in any way should be voted out of office

GREEDY, CHARGED ME 3 TIMES FOR SAME MONTH AND THEY DON'T CARE THEY ARE A MONOPOLY DOWN WITH AEP

Absolutely scamming people!

I live in a house where I heat ONE ROOM with electric. AllL of the upstairs doors are and stay closed--no heat. There is a heavy curtain between the living and dining rooms. When I am in the kitchen or if it is very cold I I use kerosene to heat that space. I stay and SLEEP in the living room. And there is a kerosene heater in there as well for extra heat. My bill was in excess of $400.00 Again I am heating ONE ROOM! But that was NOT the only huge bill. They were so extremely expensive I had to resort to paying it all off in chunks. It was a total of over $700 If the SCC continues to give them the green light we will continue to have these issues.

They are so horrible. My power bill is 512 dollars this month. They take food out of our kids mouths because of greed.

Power bills are outrageous.

I'd much rather have someone locally supply power, who actually is available when the power goes out, and isn't deciding to charge from 250 to 500 within a months time. There is inflation and then there is gouging and monopoly.

I live in a 4 room apartment and my electric is 300 a month. Ridiculousss

Being charged over a thousand dollars. We have consolation supplying the electricity and they say AEP has not paid them since 2019. Now they ready to disconnect the electricity. I need help I live on SSI and I had a part time just got laid off applied for unemployment never hear for them. I don't know what to do. AEP will NOT HELP.

AEP is charging me a high rate for my garage because I put in an electric furnace so I can go out there 2 hours at a time high rate stays for 1 year if I don't use my furnace between that time A real rip off !!!

My bill suddenly raised from 184$ a month to a whopping $275 a month in one month and its been going up ever since. I called and they came out and checked the meter but found nothing wrong. Now I’m on a payment plan to catch up on my bills that put my monthly payment at $400 a month. I’m on a fixed income $250 was too much and $400 is leaving me wondering if I’m even gonna have power.

i object mostly to the pjm charge on my bill. 224.00 bill for 174.00 worth of actual electricity use

was on a budget plan and the shut off the power over 1.47. That we offered to pay but refused and demanding 400 to turn it back on

I been paying and paying still owe last month I payed still shut off this month and the month would even wait three days

Our electric bill with AEP has been $300 to $700 every month for the past 2 years. We had our AC checked, have brand new windows, use low energy bulbs and pads under doors with no effect to our bill.

So sick of paying 150 to 200 a month and i only use my tv one light and my refrigerator its crazy

I recived a 960.00 power bill this month. I stay in 2 rooms of a 2 bedroom tralier. Had wood heat last winter. This is insane.

I have been fighting aep for 6 months over my bill. Bill matrix keeps getting my bill mixed up with landlords bill now they say I owe 800.00 and they are cut power. This has got to stop!!!

I can guarantee I am being ripped off. I made it a point to run a kerosene heater for heat and turned down water heater and conserved. I live alone and work 48 hours on 48 hours off. So live at work half the month. Still a 250 dollar bill for that month. It is impossible.

AEP is over charging way too much!!!!!!
