Keep moving forward! It's for the future of young adults in Amarillo and our kids / if not the kids will end up moving away from Amarillo.

I agree if a new up to date event center is built Amarillo can bring in a wider variety of conventions. This will create jobs and revenue for the city which in turn will help prevent property taxes from increasing. Abilene is half the size of Amarillo but brought in 3 times more conventions than Amarillo last year.

Development of downtown Amarillo including the MPEV is a must if Amarillo is to move forward. It would be a real detriment to our city to nix this project

I don't own anything in Downtown Amarillo but I have had an office in Downtown for 33 years. I remember Downtown in the 1980's and it was dead. I don't want to see Amarillo go backwards and I think the naysayers should have spoken up many years ago before the project got to this point.

My husband and I have a business and have had many serious conversations about relocating if this doesn't happen.

We own the Marizon building at 705/707 S Polk in 1995. After our remodel it was one of only two buildings on either side of the block that was open for business. Now all of the buildings in that block are open and contributing to the new Down Town Amarillo. Lets not stop the wonderful progress!

Downtown can become again a place to be at nights and on weekends, or it can become a place to absolutely avoid. I prefer the former, as do the talented 20-somethings that we want working in our city.

Downtown development is critical to the future of our city. All the elements of the redevelopment plan work together beautifully. Progress will build on progress. Let's do this!

Help Amarillo grow to be the city that it can be! Our civic center needs updating and expanded and apparently we can't get that done until this other stuff gets built! So let's go for it!

I support downtown redevelopment and fully support the city in this process while expecting the city to support the process in a reasonable and prudent manner.

We need to improve Amarillo. With Southwest Airlines pulling flights out, we need to find a way to bring life back to this city!
