I coach the U11's side and find it crazy that it should be limited to our youth teams. The facility should be enjoyed by all teams associated with Wembdon and the silliest part of it all is, I'd have thought after a mens game, the bar would make a killing!! Also odd they are happy for senior cricket to take place on a regular basis??!! Hope this gets sorted soon #WembdonFC

The enjoyment of football from the Under 6-Under 16s route shouldn't need to stop as soon as they are deemed too old for youth football. Having a player pathway will encourage community involvement and interest in their local facilities, keeping our youngsters actively involved in positive healthy sporting activities which we helped to provide.

Wemdon was the first ever team I played for at the age of 4 and over the years I have seen how the progression can lead from playing as a kid into adult football.
It's great for grass roots and if these kids these days can develop into the men's teams then it would be fantastic to keep playing at home. Local and in the heart of the club

So hope this decision is reversed, we should be encouraging our young adults to continue to play sports after leaving education, not making it more difficult, especially when they have spent the last 4 years fundraising to raise money so this fantastic sports venue could be built. Good luck!

Think it a travesty. Surely the facilities should be open to all. What would happen if the cricket club were banned ?
