My own family's history relies on understanding how faith shapes a child's identity and this proposal threatens to erase that vital connection. We are nearing a hundred signatures but we need a final push to force the Secretary of State to pay attention before this bill moves forward.

my grandparents did foster care and always kept the kids in their church. its vital for a kid to stay connected to where they come from.
the government should be protecting our rights to raise kids in our own faith not stripping it away. shameful.
TOTAL DISGRACE. kids need their culture and religion kept in the home. keep your hands off our traditions.
this is so wrong. a child needs to grow up with the values they was born into. dont take that away from them.

me & my wife have gone through the uk adoption process, we where matched to a child to nuture both his muslim religion and his traditional values of his ethnicity. I think birth parents were left at some ease to know he/she is in good hands where he/she wont lose his identity which is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN ISLAM.
