It's about time, if we want our children/schools to be number one, having assistance and recognizing dyslexia can only help. Put the money where it can do the most good. PLEASE!!

This is way overdue. Something needs to change. Students with Dyslexia cannot afford to loose one more day of their education.

It's a start, then the big finish, the dyslexic adults.

As a mom of a dyslexic child I have had to do all the research and advocate and fight for her rights. That is not right - She is a textbook case and should have had help right from the start. We need this!

Invest in these kids a little bit now or pay up a whole lot more later. It serves society better to invest in the education of children than to rehabilitate adults who fell through the cracks of the public education system. NY is at the forefront of many things. Let it become the national benchmark for excellency in education. Some of the most brilliant inventions have come from dyslexic minds. Make this world a better place; support our teachers with training and our children with the tools they need to access their education to their highest potential.
