This is the absolute worst place coming & going! I counted 18 accidents that I personally saw last year before my daughter could drive. I ordered her when she started driving to not leave the parking lot until 3:30! That is 30 minutes after school is out. Now she has a job across town & must leave as soon as school is out! Please get a light in ---even if it is just one that operates before & and after school!

The traffic situation is dangerous and unacceptable. I drop my son off on my way to work. I have to turn left from the southeast entrance and often sit for more than 5 minutes.

As a parent of a Junior at ONW, I fully agree with this petition and have contacted the city on other occasions relating my concern over this very issue!

Please correct this now. The school should have never been built with the current road and traffic controls that are in place today.

The access points to ONW are difficult for experienced drivers, and dangerous for our young teen-age drivers!

Just check the number of accidents. Those alone tell a huge story

Please promptly (ASAP) complete a traffic study pursuant to city-adopted guidelines in order to assess apparent risks and pursue remediation of high risks to reduce the chance of injury or fatality.

I feel this should really be looked at during prime time hours. Why do I see more police officers in the parking lots in block days when kids haven't even arrived yet?

it makes sense to see what 1000 student drivers look like trying to get to the same place at the same time

Please do an assessment during prime school hours so you can see the issues.

As an Olathe resident this really concerns me.

Some type of traffic control for start and end of school is needed. A lot of risky traffic situations occur daily.

Teen driver safety should be a high priority

As a parent of two teens who attend ONW, this traffic issue makes me nervous daily. I anxiously await their arrival home from school each day now that the oldest drives them too and from school. It's a lot to deal with for experienced drivers, and makes it even scarier when the majority are teen drivers. It seems like a no brainer that something needs to be done to ensure the safety of all of these drivers.

I know several students who have gotten into accidents leaving or coming to ONW. I think it is a necessity to see a change in the entrances and exits

My son had a major accident in from on ONW in 2012. It was all due to traffic and inaequate road. It was an $8000 expense but luckily no injuries! It is a a travesty that this part of College is not widened!!

I am a nervous wreck each day as I battle the congestion on college blvd. My daughter is only a freshman this year but will be driving or riding with peers in the near future. Please fix this issue before someone seriously gets hurt. It only takes one small movement to make a big difference in the lives of a community. be
