Additional Exit Crestwood Drive to Ocean Drive

Gives us a second exit please

Please take note of this petition for the safety of our children.

In the event of an evacuation the entire Crestwood estate has only one exit and will cause massive amounts of traffic leaving at the same time. This could very well have catastrophic results depending on the event causing the evacuation. Local council need to provide the estate with a second exit to help the flow of traffic especially in an emergency situation

we have been waiting for 25 years now for Ocean Drive upgrade to dual carriage way and traffic lights at the major housing estates like Crestwood, will it be another 25 years before we see any action? It is a pity the council people and the major do not have to exit Crestwood Estate every morning to get to work!!!!

I want another entry/exit

If there was an accident blocking the exit to the roundabout we would not be able to get into Crestwood nor get out. Imagine if the roundabout was blocked off when someone in Crestwood needed an ambulance.

Definitely need another entry/exit to Crestwood, huge risk if there was ever a bushfire, we would never get out in time.... and lots of traffic congestion at peak times in morning

These problems need to be considered when making changes .

Has anyone thought about the bicycle track to Lake Road. I don’t agree with money into this it is in my opinion Councils responsibility,for our Residents to have a safe environment for us to live. Without any risks involved in the event of a catastrophic should happen.

Totally support the spirit and intent of this petition. The sooner meaningful change (improved traffic egress in peak times) happens the better.

We need another way out,if there was a fire people could be traped ,lives put in danger.

I worry if there was an emergency in the area and we all had to exit, with only one exit, that would provide a huge and potentially dangerous situation.

Many thanks David for taking this community concern up with council and Lesley Williams. We are long term residents of Crestwood and the congestion at the roundabout at Ocean Drive and Crestwood Drive during morning peak is dreadful and will get worse as more homes are built in the estate.

the issue with the Ocean Drv upgrade will mean we will only have the option to turn left due to the dual carriageway if ever the upgrade occurs. A better option would be an access to the west or east more probably easier and more appropriately onto Sapphire drv. Another exit is necessary for emergency services if anything.
