Teen parents need a school where they can go and learn with peers that are going through the same things. That's why new futures was delevopled in the first place. It's the only school in Albuquerque where teens parents can go to school with their children and interact with other teen parents.

Schools that accept students with identified behavioral issues and from detention facilities SHOULD NOT be placed in an established neighborhood of homes, nor in a school with exposure to young children and pregnant women.

As someone who lives in the neighborhood around New Furtures & Freedom HS, I am *highly* aganist the addition of 300+ studrents. The neighborhood was not designed to handle the traffic, congestion, and parking that these new students are sure to being. New Futures & Freedom HS has been successful is serving the current demographic of students, partly because of the small class size and partly because of the safe environment they've worked hard to create. But moat importantly, the additional students could jeopardize the safety of the students and their children. This is unacceptable. If children are truely APS's first priority, I hope the act like it and choose not to throw a wrench in the gears of the New Futures & Freedom HS.

I was a young mother who wished this type of facility existed during those years for me. Please keep this school safe for the young mothers and their children so that your faculty can contunue to support these brave young women. I have heard amazing success stories about this school, the staff and the students, please don't jeopardize losing that.

As a graduate from New Futures I believe adding these students would put the mothers and the children in a difficult learning environment. APS needs to remember that New Futures is the one school that has an impact on 2 generations of the future. You add these troubled teens to the mix and you will have no future.

All the children and parents deserve to be safe no matter what. And the only way that can happen is to keep the amount of students around low

We really do not need this at new features high school what is this doing to help us nothing I swer if this passes then I swer APS there is something wrong with you and we really don't need people on new features side it's not there school so we should not have to share any thing with them that's eacadamys problem and 2nd of all new features is packed as is so think it over

do not allow APS to bring more issues to bear. Children babies and pregnant and new mos have enough to concern themselves with then worry stress about their saftey

I attended and graduated New Futures in 2007. If it were not for this School I would of not graduated and my life would probably not be wat it is now. New Futures helped me be successful. If they make these changes it will be a disaster. And other students will be put at risk of not having the same luxury that I did this makes me sad for these students that desperately need this opurtunity. Do not make this decision it will be a huge mistake.
