Addition of 150 students in eCADEMY with New Futures students

I highly disagree with this situation. I believe that a school that is for mothers and mothers to be should be just for them. Bringing in detention center students is a major saftey hazard not only for the students but also for the babies.

New futures has allowed many of my friends to not only continue but complete their education in a safe nonjudgmental environment. To hear that people would like to mix in more students with behavior difficulties is bizarre and I do believe will be a huge mimistaki thibk if this happens it will defeat the whole purpose of new futures and more parents will drop out instead of continuing and completing their ededucation. Things should stay the way they are.

The babies won't be as safe as they are now if the addition of 300 outside students are welcomed into this school.

Its not wise to put non parent teens and teen mothers together.

Although I'm sure the new 300+ students need to go somewhere. There is a no way that the neighborhood could take on that much traffic also. Designing new features and freedom high school to have small classes, small campus and a small enrollment is the key to the success of those at risk students. Adding 300 more students into that area is just going to cause conflict and disarray please reconsider.

New Futures should be a secure school for pregnant and new parents and their children. Choose a different site for the eCADEMY!

I went to new futures I moved before I could finish school but this school is amazing for mothers n their kids but ONLY for mothers n their kids

The safety if our children is at risk. Also, New Futures is a safe place for us of pregnant and patenting teens. The addition of 300+ will take away the uniqueness of the school we have and will no longer feel like a secured school.

Please reconsider this due to safety reasons for the babies and families

My sister went to school and if she didn't go, who knows if she would have finish high school and went onto college.

This is ludicrous! As a parent of a student at New Futures, I am deeply concerned for my child's and grandchild's safety. Not to mention other issues, such as overcrowding, area traffic and lack of appropriate facilities to be able to feed and provide proper health care to these additional students. The only choice for these students is to utilize New Futures facilities, which puts extra stain on staff and students. Considering the delicate situation New Futures students are in, being pregnant and/or having children, they are under enough stress. The APS Board of Education needs to properly address these issues and come up with a different plan and home for these 300+ students.

It is irrational to combine the two schools. You don't eat cereal with a soda pop they just don't mix!!

I graduated from new futures this school is near and dear to my heart

I do not think combining both schools would be the best idea especially with the babies ...really think about the babies and there safety

I went to New Futures with my Daughter and I wouldn't like other reckless teens doing things in front of her that any parent would normally have a problem!

I believe in a safe environment for all students and their babies. My daughter went to school there and my grandson was in the child care and I would've wanted to make sure they were safe at all times.

I attended New Futures and felt safe knowing I could take my children with me away from careless and troubled young people that I knew at Manzano please give these young parents a chance to thrive comfortably with their babies. New Futures is a wonderful alternative for young ladies and men who made a simple mistake but still want to follow their dreams bringing in these troubled young kids would only be an added distraction.
