We ask Eaglecrest to allocate 2 staff bathrooms in the center of the school to become gender neutral bathrooms. Right now, Eaglecrest has only 2 gender neutral bathrooms, and they are frequently occupied because there are so few options available. This creates long bathroom waits and makes an already simple part of the school day harder than it should be.
Opening 2 staff bathrooms as gender neutral bathrooms would help reduce bathroom times and give students more access to a restroom they can use without delay. It would also reduce the stress some students feel when going into a bathroom that does not feel like it is for them. Everyone deserves a school day where using the bathroom is easy, private, and respectful.
Placing these bathrooms in the center of the school would make them more convenient for students and help spread out use across the building. This is a practical change that would improve daily life for many students without taking away from anyone else.
We believe Eaglecrest should take this step to make the school more welcoming and accessible. By allowing 2 staff bathrooms to become NB bathrooms, the school can reduce overcrowding, shorten wait times, and show that all students deserve a safe and comfortable place to use the restroom.
The current bathroom layout is utterly horrific if bathrooms are gender neutral then I won't have to run arcross the entire school to find a open bathroom
