Please sign this petition! Both of our girls have had this test. My Mom passed away of Idiopathic Dialated Cardio Myopathy in 2006, and this test could save my girls lives as well as many others! Yes this should be mandatory for athletes. It issuch a preventive and cautionary thing to do for just a small cost.

I really think this should be mandatory!!!! Thankful that I allowed my 13 yr.old daughter to get one before athletics this past year! Because of the test we had to go see a specialist and he determined that she has a heart murmur that she should've already outgrown! We wouldn't have known this if it wasn't for her recieveing the EKG! She has had yearly checkups every year w/ her pediatrician but murmur was never detected!

It takes a few minutes! Don't wait!
How can we not do this for our children.
