Please reconsider the rule based on safety and not just distance . My daughter attends TJ High and walks 1.9 miles to school , however the route forces her to cross over a bridge for route 15.

Transporting these children by bus instead of all the cars that are traveling to the school will increase the safety for all families. My impression is that very few of these students walk to school.

Speed throughout the neighborhood and increased traffic on 355 to avoid 270 is a hazard for kids to walk

Please consider the safety of our children. Children as young at 11 should not be made to walk 1.75 miles each way to school.

We live near Urbana Elementary. It's too far for middle school kids to walk to school!

The continuously increasing traffic in route 80 and along Worthington Boulevard is a safety issue specially because of speeders. Increased police presence seems to help but under the current conditions I can't have my children walk to school and unfortunately I have to contribute to the long lines and wait during drop off and pickup times. Please consider increasing the school bus area. Thank you.

Our house is exactly at 1.75 but no go. The boundary for HS is 2 miles!

This is LONG overdue. Our children should not have to walk nearly 4 total miles (sometimes under adverse weather conditions) to get to and from school-especially with heavy books and supplies.

Just makes sense. We had it when we moved here and then they took it away.
