Disc golf would be a wonderful addition to the local community. It's a great, low impact, outdoor activity for folks of all ages. During the past year, it has stood out as a great way to spend time outdoors while still being socially distanced and has provided an outlet for thousands of new folks getting into the game.
I would love having a course I could walk or bike to! This would be an amazing addition to our community!
Disc golf is a fast growing sport . It is also fairly inexpensive to play for a family activity and a fun way to get exercise.........but it's only inexpensive until you get hooked on it. I've been playing for over 30 years and I have met many new friends through the sport. It's also a friendly way to compete with and teach new players. It's more than a sport, it's a community.
Coming from a 30 year player and organizer of the sport. Adding disc golf to your park will increase it’s popularity and use. We’ve seen a huge growth statewide with onset of the pandemic. Great outdoor activity for all. Family and individual pastime. Your township will not regret the decision to add a disc golf course to the park.
As a local orange township resident, and avid disc golfer for over 30 years, this would be a tremendous asset to the community. Please consider this addition to the park and local community!

Disc golf can be an incredibly affordable activity and is a sure fire way to draw more people your township and park. With growing popularity and demand for more courses, this would be a great way to allocate funds to serve the community.
