Also, the goal is a statistically insignificant number (500) and how unfortunate is it that we couldn't reach it? Our Umma is comprised of at least 1.8 BILLION people.

I hear the voices of angels reciting the Quran in Arabic via youtube clips and dream of the day when they are included in Quran Explorer. May we evolve to love, cherish and value the Creator through both sexes.

i am trying to read the Quran in a melodious voice but it is hard because I cannot deepen my voice so it is hard to read and discourages me to read quran

I listen to recitation of Quran ul Kareem every day. It is my way of improving my recitation of, and memorizing Quran. I am a female, and I want to hear a female. I am a stay at home mother of 6 going 7 children (3 boys & 4 girls), and do not have the luxury of studying Quran outside of my home, or of paying for private tutelage. Please please please help to make Quran memorization and recitation easier for me and my daughters.

HALF of the world's ONE BILLION Muslims are women. It follows that HALF of your reciters should also be women. Bring forth parity for women, not with just one measly voice, but with half of voices!

if the powerful message of Quran doesn't reach you bc is a woman voice what you hear, then, sorry, but the problem is yours... if you prefer a male reciter you have many options anyways
