Educate the locals about excessive speed in the forest.

Traffic should travel at no more than 30mph on the Forest. The 30 mph restriction south of Brockenhurst should be extended for both safety and environmental reasons

Definitely need signage to remind drivers of the danger of night driving in the forest .....we’ve often come across ponies just standing in the middle of the road at night, particularly on the road to Burley from the A35.

Let's hope this helps although I notice when I'm in the Forest I seem to be the only one keeping to speed limits!!

Unfortunately I don’t really think that it’s the drivers who are adhering to the limit that are causing the problem

I live in lyndhurst and work in Southampton therefore fully aware of the animals and drive accordingly. I am signing this to make visitors to the New Forest also aware and more caution for the through traffic.

40 is a sensible limit but stronger enforcement is needed. Is it possible to use average speed cameras as positioned at motorway roadworks?

Please, please reduce the main speed limit to 30, not 40mph, as well as add3minutes! Save all animals!

Petitions should not be necessary, everyone's common sense ought to tell them to drive more slowly through the forest as they are bound to encounter any forest animal.

Change the roads back to gravel and remove the tarmac.

It would be nice if the Highway Authority financed the "High Risk" signs & they were reflective.
