#add3minutes to reduce New Forest animal road deaths

I live in the New Forest and am horrified and saddened by the amount of animals that are killed on our roads each year.

Slow down

There are no excuses for speeding around the New Forest..people should take notice of the dangers, be more aware, slow down or lose the right to use the Forest Roads

It is essential that we all take more care than in daylight & reduce our speed at night so many animals are on the verges grazing.

The Forest is their home and we should respect that

Yes more than happy to do this. We must try to reduce the animal deaths as it is appalling the numbers being killed.

Hopefully this will bring home to drivers that speeding in the Forest is unnecessary and inappropriate.

It's so easy to not see a dark pony on the road - please keep your speed down and keep all the animals safe.

Such an important initiative

There really is no excuse for driving over the speed limits or without due care to our animals so please take care and slow down. Treat our wonderful New Forest with the respect it deserves - or perhaps use an alternative route - if you're local and speed why are you living here???

Help keep The New Forest a safe place for wildlife.

Always drive carefully especially through the forest.

We need more cameras to catch the idiots who overtake lines of cars waiting for ponies and donkeys cross the road

As a new commuter across the forest in the early and late hours I'm very animal-aware, but even so last week one evening I experienced six ponies appearing out of the gloom immediately in front of me as I approached Emery Down. It was a timely reminder to a) watch my speed and b) to remain constantly vigilant. I've since modified my commute route to stay away from high risk routes.

If you child was riding through the Forrest you'd slow down !

I would add 30 minutes if it ensure the safety of the New Forrest wildlife
