Terrible numbers of animal suffering. There must be unreported injuries too. Who pays to clear up after the dead and dying creatures?

Please go extra slow when animals are by the side of the road.

Just slow down, make the whole forest 30 miles an hour!

It seems that, if you drive a powerful vehicle through the open forest, especially to commute, it is very difficult not to overtake. Commercially operated vehicles are particular offenders. Speed limit enforcement is patchy to say the least.

Reduce the speed limit to save animals lives. Maybe a speed hump or two would make drivers more aware.

I travel across the forest often I see flagrant abuse of speed limits and even worse a total disregard for animals and cyclists. We need to extend community 30mph speed checks to the 40 mph areas.Also the police should have zero tolerance approach.

Absolutely necessary..Spread the word continually.. Slow down for horses and cyclists and please Do NOT feed any animals!!

Use pictures off injured animals on the road side to bring home the message

We need to encourage motorists to have more respect for the animals on the forest.

Any thing to save these needless deaths of the forest animals

I think there should be bigger penalties for anyone hitting an animal and solar cameras installed bear black spots

I welcome anything that can be done to protect the New Forest ponies, as well as any wild animal in the area. I am appalled that so many beautiful animals are killed each year, and so many by LOCAL people.

Locals should know more about the animals and be more considerate,but seem to be the biggest culprits!

Don’t know how you can achieve your aims but wish you all the luck .. one animal saved is good but more is better!

Sadly unless lots mor speed bumps & squeeze points motorists are tempted by the lack of traffic and straight roads to speed, unfortunately it is usually local people as they know the roads tourists generally go slow because they want to look at the ponies . Some years ago there was talk of a toll to go through the park this would definitely people using it as a rat run

Be aware of those outside the car who are more vulnerable than you

Just be sensible, engage brain when you engage the gears.

We visit the New Forest at least twice a year and always consider the animals, and drive accordingly, it’s disgusting how inconsiderate people can be.
