The google nexus devcies are great devices. They offer fast updates and a pure google experience for a good price. But It would be so great to have the possibility to use micro sd cards to extend the memory. Reasons: - In many situations it's not sufficient to use the cloud as only storage. Especially if the main media content is (high resolution) video, because the cloud is not always available or the mobile phone contract has a data limit - There are still Applications storing their data not in the cloud (Games, Navigation,Lexicons...) - a SD Card makes it easier to move content between devices - SD Cards are cheap compared to the extra charge you have to pay when choosing between 8, 16, 32 ... GB models. For example the difference between Nexus 7 with 8GB and 16GB is about 50$. The price for a 8GB microSDCard is about 5$
