El Sobrante already has numerous service station/convenience store combos within a relatively small radius. Why bring in another such business, when this site might offer a much more enriching mix of retail and personal/family services? Let's invite creative business involvement that would uplift rather than downgrade our community.

I am against the construction of a service station/liquor store at this location. El Sobrante has plenty of these commercial establishments; it does not need any more, especially on the Appian Way corridor. Please adhere to and comply with the zoning and design guidelines.

Aside from the aspirations we might have for this site, the clear violations of the zoning ordinance should not be allowed.

A nice restaurant, not fast food, would help to fill the void in this area known to be a food desert.

We need to build our community up not down. I do not support another liquor store or gas station.

Disappointing step backwards for our community.

A gas station may be OK however a liquor store is unacceptable especially being so close to a elementary school and mortuary.

The last thing we need in our neighborhood is a new gas station or liquor store. We have way too many of those already. Also, the traffic congestion caused by this would be unbearable.

This would be such a disappointing step backwards for the use of this site. I for one as a community member would work to find an alternative developer for a real community amenity on this site.

There's enough crime in that area already and more than enough gas stations.

There is a public elementary school up the hill and a private school next door to the property. This space should be utilized for something that benefits the children of our community - junk food, alcohol, cigarettes is NOT it!

ElSobrante does not need another liquor store. Would
love to see a business that would serve the whole community, something family oriented.

not only does El Sobrante NOT need another liquor store, but traffic in and out of a gas station at that intersection would create even more congestion and accidents than there already is at the Shell Station in the strip mall up the street.

no more. There are 2 service stations and more liquors stores within 1 mile. Something better for kids and families.

There are too many liquor stores and bars in El Sobrante already. Converting Adachi Nursery into such a place is ill advised. Murphy Elementary is behind Adachi. I am not comfortable with a liquor store that close to our kids. There is already a bar in close proximity. We would also like to keep the Japanese architecture. No more bars or liquor stores!
