I'm shocked and saddened to lose Adachi's. I agree with the comments; a bar is inappropriate and a gas station is superfluous. No doubt we will mobilize to keep this from happening. We need, instead, a business or park that enhances the health of our town.

I believe this would bring our community down, I hope they don't use the property in this way.

NO! El Sobrante has more liquor stores in our communities than it needs for a small population. Not another in my back yard!

We have a bar and a restaurant that sell alcohol on site. We don't need any more. Let's move forward with our town and have some family friendly businesses.

This is a move downward. I'm so sad to see Adachi go, and we have enough liquor stores and gas stations. I will not support these businesses.

Not only no but Hell. For all the reasons stated these additions to our community are extremely out of place! We live on Joan Vista St. With an automotive shop directly across the street. A school is behind our house. AA is down the street and a mortuary is next door to AA. Due to traffic it is becoming increasingly hard to get onto Sobrante Ave which is where the gas station/liquor store would be located. It seems to be irresponsible planning to issue a permit for this enterprise so close to two schools, a mortuary and Alcohol Anonymous. There is also a marijuana establishment located behind the AA building which also seems inappropriate. Does anyone give a thought to the people living here when issuing permits????

I agree with most comments . We really don't need another gas station . Maybe we could have another nursery or a flower shop. Or even a enclosed park.

Building a station in this area will be a detriment to the safety of the school children who walk by this area going to and from school.

There is really no need for another gas station. There is literally one right down the road! Like many have said there is a school right down the road! Not a safe idea at all! Why on earth does this town have the need for another gas station? Why one you even consider this a great business plan? Electric is the future!

No more liquor stores or gas station's. Traffic at that intersection is bad enough during school, before and after and then commute traffic.

Will the organizers of this petition and fellow El Sobrantians bring this up during city council meetings? Trading flowers for Liquor is worst idea ever. Make it a soccer field/track/park! El Sobrante has no park. It's 2017 build something.

We have plenty of liquor stores and gas stations in El Sobrante. Besides, AA has its meetings right across the street from there.
