It is the responsibility of the TWBC to get this project moving - they knew it was a very difficult site due railaway tunnel and still let it be sold when they should have bought it for the sake of the town. now they must demand a resolution.

It is a complete disgrace that our council have allowed this derelict building site to dominate the centre of Tunbridge Wells.

I have lived in the middle of TWs for 12 years and put up with this "grot spot" - there has been all talk and no action on the Cinema Site - The Conservatives must be seen to do something constructive about it - hurray for the Tories!!

It reflects very poorly on both the owners and the council – like two bickering school children. Make this a usable space, and quickly.

A most dreadful eyesore on a major centr e of the town. This may well be, or is becom ing an Health and Sa ftey matter. The Tow n should demand and expect a social obli gation from the owners who should be mindful of their social reponsibilities

The site would make a wonderful town square which could provide street level parking which could be suspended when needed for civic events. Cafes etc on 2 sides would enhance the space.

It is time to finally act on the cinema site. The residents of Tunbridge Wells have been patient regarding this development for long enough. The Town Council seems to be useless.

Please do something about this eyesore. Criminal that the landlords have been inactive for 13 years. They should be fined for every day after 10 yrs until they get the site opened. Tunbridge Wells is SUPPOSED to be a des res. they are ruining the town and should be punished.

May be the coucil should demolish and create an open space possibly recuping some of the cost by providing a car park.

It has been a blot on our landscape for long enough. Get it demolished, get something built in its place, something that is attractive to businesses and then go out and find tenants for it. If you build it, they will come. If you don't they can't!!
