Our village looks disgraceful. What's going on?

I just hope Lake Placid gets itself together and starts fixing its infrastructure, because at its current pace, it isn't looking good.

Lake Placid town department is a joke, they’re a bunch of lazy workers sitting around smoking and wasting tax money, they need to get to work and make Placid nice again

I am a local of Lake Placid and am VERY excited someone said something before I did. I’ve always known Lake Placid to care more about the tourists then the locals, but now Lake Placid is letting things like back roads, main street, ect to be warn down and not safe. I don’t park on main street for the reasons this petition is addressing. I’m sick of it. The next person who has to put a hand crafted sign telling Lake Placid to fix the roads because the town isn’t going to pay for the repair of our vehicles..is pointing out what needs to be DONE just like this petition is. I love my town, but I hate the lack of respect it’s getting from not fixing what should’ve been fixed YEARS ago.

I never have experienced such bad road condition . around the village/town ever before like this spring. What's the problem, who is in charge and what is going to be done??

The salt problem is a crisis. Mirror Lake doesn’t have much time left.

Implementing an idea imperfectly is better than never giving an idea life in the first place. Do something, doesnt have to be the greatest thing of all time, just better than it is now.
