The cost time and inplementation of the scheme is not feasible or practical. The cost and offense to local garages is inexcusable.

Taking work away from local businesses in these cash strapped times ...and in effect reinventing the wheel..why? These Taxis provide a valued service to the community....if it wants to do something the council should target the illegal taxi operators that somehow turn up with a driver, grubby car and a mobile phone with google maps !

You should be able to get your car MOT at any Vosa autherised garage why penalise the majority when its a few who don't play be the rules

CAN NOT be allowed!! There is no way they can cope with all MOT's and is out of order to take away income from MOT stations.

Just sounds like a money making scam 2 me, and taking money of local garages. Haven't Scarborough council lost 40 % funding so is that why they need 2 cover cost 2 make the there 40% loss. Joke
