Dear Mr. Hanners:
As you know Republic of Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno Karabagh) have been under attack by Azerbaijan and its allyTurkey. They have cowardly also resorted to bombing and shelling of the innocent civilians.
Los Angeles has the largest population of Armenians outside of Armenia and our hospital systems care for a large number of patients that are of Armenian descent. Many of these patients have families that have been affected by these atrocities.
We are reaching out to you to issue a statement acknowledging the current situation.
