When I entered Chapelle, the transition from seven classes to four classes a day was a positive one. It allowed me to balance school, home, and work obligations and better prepared me for college. The loss of indenpendent study and the increase of classes per day would be a large mistake.

The block scheduling, electives and I.S. were a few of the many things that made Chapelle a unique and incredible experience. I am incredibly grateful of the experience that Chapelle gave me and truly shaped me as a young woman. I am very proud Chapelle alumna and am happy and willing to advocate further.

I absolutely loved the block schedule. It helped prepare me for college, where most of the classes and labs are 90 minutes. It was amazing now

While I strongly oppose the majority of these changes, getting rid of stone extra curricular activities I think may be for the best. It saves money to go towards STEM programs

As a 27 year old Chapelle graduate I believe I would not have gradutated had I not had the extras they offered. I had a hard family life my 4 years of school there and the teachers and coaches are the ones who helped me when I did not want to go home to hell. They gave me my outlet to be me and forget what was going on at home. I cannot believe they would take that away from these girls who may need golf with Ms. Munn to change their focus and give them the chance to be the best person they can be.

The reason I graduated with the grades I did was because of IS. I could have a job in high school, and be able to finish large amounts of homework in a spans of 2 days. I loved that.

The block study schedule, along with I.S., were hands down the reason I was able to graduate with such a high g.p.a., while being involved with numerous extra-curricular activities. Taking this away will do more harm than good, and I urge the administration of my alma mater, Archbishop Chapelle High School, to strongly reconsider this decision.

Students need to be able to time manage. It's suppose to prepare you for college and in college you don't have every class every day.
