I.S. Helped me to get the extra help that I needed with certain classes like physics and biology. Many people cannot meet after school due to other activities or transportation reasons. If I would have had I.S. It would have been a struggle to get the extra help that I needed from other students or even teachers.

The block schedule fully prepares you for your college experience and allows you to learn how to manage your time on a college level. The block schedule was an important part of my high school experience. Chapelle is a college prep high school and the block schedule is an important aspect of that.

As one of 5 girls in my family having graduated from Chapelle along with my daughter, 2 nieces, 1 niece currently attending and another one just being accepted, and not to mention my son attending for a semester after Katrina, I believe these changes are extremely drastic. I understand that sometimes change or modification is required to improve the school, but these are not the ones. Please reconsider this proposal.
