The following members of the ACCP ID PRN would like to voice the following concerns with the proposed Policy on Accepting Commercial Support: We feel that the current draft guideline: 1. Lacks a comprehensive plan to promote positive industry relationships and instead encourages continued support from marketing and promotional activities where the College requires this funding for viability. 2. Fails to provide or demonstrate adequate analyses of the financial impact for the College and its membership following the implementation of the policy. Therefore, we do not support the policy as proposed in the current draft.

This draft is just not practical. We need more transparency before pushing this through.

How is this supposed to work? I agree fully that the current proposal is flawed and needs a major revision.

The financial impact is being completely ignored here. Big mistake.
